Scholarships for while
you’re studying at NCC
The Foundation offers two scholarships for current students: an academic year scholarship and a Spring semester scholarship.
Current Status:
The 2021-2022 Academic Year scholarship application will open April 15, 2021. You will be notified ONLY through your NCC email (@mail.ct.edu) on the status of your application in mid-June. Please check your college email over the summer!
Academic Year
Scholarship Information
This scholarship provides tuition assistance for the entire academic year, including winter and summer intersessions if you choose to take classes.
When to apply
Open April 15- May 19, 2021.
What you need
The scholarship is open to all students who have not earned a prior associate degree at NCC, or a bachelor’s or higher degree at any US institution.
Students of any citizenship may apply (includes US citizens, US permanent residents, international students (F-1 VISA), and students without US citizenship or residency)
To apply you must:
- Be enrolled in a degree program (certificates are not eligible)
- Declare a major (General Studies counts)
- Have 12 to 68 Credits earned at NCC (that count towards your degree)
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Take at least six credits or more in both the Fall and Spring semesters
- If you are:
- A US Citizen or Permanent Resident > Complete the 2021-2022 FAFSA
- An International Student > you do not need any further documents
- Neither a US citizen or permanent resident, and you are not an international student > please complete the Income Verification Form below:
How to apply
USE GOOGLE CHROME OR FOXFIRE
- Use this link to sign up to access the application (you may have to cut and paste into browser) https://norwalk.academicworks.com/users/sign_up
- Put your NCC email in (.mail.ct.edu)
- Select a password. It does not have to be the same as your NCC password. Write it down to remember for getting in to the application in the future.
- You will get a link to your college email to confirm. Make sure you check your Junk folder and have your Focused folder off.
- Once you confirm, you should get right in.
- Answer ALL questions even if they do not apply to you. Put an X in those.
The Foundation will only contact you through your college email account (@mail.ct.edu).

Spring Semester
Scholarship Information
This scholarship is for the Spring semester ONLY, and open to all current NCC students who have NOT already received a scholarship this year. Your award is based on the number of credits you enroll in and complete this spring, and your unmet need.
When to apply
The 2021 Spring Semester Scholarship application period has ended. The 2022 Spring Semester Scholarship application period will be in the fall, 2021. Please check back then for more information.

- Neither a US citizen/ permanent resident/ international student > please complete the Income Verification Form below:
