The Norwalk Community College Foundation has received $30,000 from CPG Architects of Stamford to establish the Carl Mirbach Memorial Scholarship at Norwalk Community College to be awarded to NCC students majoring in architecture or interior design.

“The NCC Foundation manages over 120 scholarships funds that allow eligible NCC students to graduate debt free,” said NCC Foundation Executive Director Ann P. Rogers. “We are very grateful to CPG for recognizing the impact of these awards and meeting Carl’s challenge to support NCC Architecture or Interior Design students with scholarships.”

On Oct. 2, the firm held a golf outing to benefit The Carl Mirbach Memorial Scholarship. The response was overwhelming, raising $30,000 for the initial funding of the scholarship. As stated by co-principal and owner Jenny Paik, “We are pleased that with the involvement of many clients and friends, we made Carl’s dream a reality.”
