This Thursday, March 1st, the NCC Foundation will take part in our region’s biggest charitable event of the year – Fairfield County’s Giving Day. It’s 24 hours to give where you live!

All donations received through FCGives.org on March 1st will benefit our Student Emergency Fund. Each donation adds up, plus your gift can help us win additional cash prizes.

The Student Emergency Fund helps students who encounter an unforeseen financial emergency or hardship event that would otherwise prevent them from continuing their education at NCC. This past year we have helped pay rent, utility bills, medical bills, day care expenses, and more.

“I just wanted to express my gratitude for what the Student Emergency Fund did to help me. I know I’m homeless, but that doesn’t stop me from excelling in school or being a father for my daughter, and what you did this morning was a blessing to me. I am very grateful for all the help. I just wanted to say thank you very, very much.” —Student Emergency Fund Recipient

Please set a reminder to visit FCGives.org on March 1st and support NCC’s students in need. Over 400 local non-profits will be competing to win $100,000 in cash prizes throughout the day, so please support us at whatever level you can and help us get into the winner’s circle.

For questions or additional information, please contact Terri Nackid, Director of Annual and Planned Giving at TNackid1@norwalk.edu.
