The Impact of Giving

Over 4,000 visits were recorded at the food pantry during the Fall semester.

Thanksgiving is always a wonderful time to see gratitude and generosity in action, and 2024 was no exception. Thanks to your support and the Alliance for Community Empowerment the food pantry distributed Thanksgiving meal bags to over 50 students and their families.

Following the Thanksgiving event, the Holiday Giveaway took place in December, with food pantry staff and Project Search students distributing Christmas dinners and sweets. Community outreach projects such as these demonstrate the NCC Foundation’s commitment to the Barrier Busters pillar of the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. This investment directly supports students and strengthens the Norwalk community.
